If not, it is not worth carrying.

I'm assuming the Honda Spray Cleaner & Polish™ falls under 'cleaners.' And it's always nice to have a stocked ice chest.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER!

I still haven't mounted mine to the wall, but I was at a go cart race earlier this year and a neighbor caught his cart on fire welding it. *Luckily, my friend, who wasn't around, had mounted his on the wall so I was able find it and put out the cart while its owner sat there wringing his hands watching it burn with his buddies. * The prick didn't even offer to replace the extinguisher either.

The tubing is for bleeding the brakes and the spare batteries are for the flashlight (or laptimer if you have one).

Re: Essential Items for the trailer

The clock is extremely important if you're racing. Inside the trailer (or motorhome or garage or whatever), you usually miss all the calls, so it's a good idea to have a big assed clock in sight . . .

The Pitbike is why I didn't get AC in the trailer . . .

Mirror: to get grime off of face from the greasy hands that shouldn't have touched your face
Clock: so you know how many mins you have until your next track session

Re: Essential Items for the trailer

The mirror is also good so you can ensure that you've rubbed in all of your white suntan lotion!

Good list, that's about everything we've got in the trailer.

Instead of a traditional jack, we have a 'Jiffy Jack'. If you have a dual axle trailer, you can roll one wheel on it, so the flat one is then off the ground. And it can double as a wheel chock.

Another nice addition was one of those diamond plate boxes mounted onto the trailer tongue so that the gas can be stored outside of the trailer...

We usually bring along a service manual, too.

...and beer for the end of the day!

If you use stabilizer jacks, you can remove the tow vehicle, lift all the wheels off the ground and you dont need chocks...

Cool. I've been thinking about getting those, since we walk around in it and load/unload when it's unhitched from the tow vehicle. Since it's a dual axle, it seems stable, no problems yet, but better safe than sorry.

Also: Maintain your trailer! It should have the wheel bearings repacked every other year! Check lug nuts, lights, etc. If you have electric brakes, keep the break-away battery charged.
