crates
I don't know how many of you are former military or have shipped their bikes overseas, but I'm headed over there again. Last time I had them place my baby between my 2 beds which worked out, but I'd rather have a custom crate this time. Is there any good priced place that will build a shipping crate for your bike?

Re: crates
I was moved under a corporate account using United Van Lines. They have contract craters who build crates for them for these kinds of moves. I had them ship a 600F2. I saw the bill that they charged my company. It was $1700 just for the crate, not the including the shipping. This was clearly a hose job since it was a corporate account. I guess my suggestion is to contact moving companies and see if they can give you some names of craters and see what you can negotiate.
