Re: Hitch mounted ramp

My set up is on a on a Tacoma instead. Ramp works flawlessly and its very very easy to use. Like many other owners have stated, it's just the on and off the truck parts thats a hassle. I've even used the ramp in the rain. it still works pretty well. A few things that are on the down side would be i guess, when the ramp sits flush on your tailgate. it rubs so you will have sort of an outline of your ramp at the very edge of your tailgate. I hear alot of people use plywood or whatever to cover that area so it does not get damaged. and the ramp catches a lot of debris and a LOT of wind. Haha coming back from Dan Kyle on 1, I swore I was gonna tip over and when I got home I had like 2 plastic bags stuck to the ramp. I believe its a good ramp. you can't install alone. The pin takes a little bit of messing with to go in, so have a buddy wiggle the ramp forward/backward while you try to get the pin in. After that its smooth sailing. Also about the Ridgeline. Its an awesome truck, very spacious alot of cool features but buying a less expensive truck equals more goodies for the bike and track days.
