Remember that thread with the job offer? Well I'm working on something that should be a done deal next week that will involve A LOT of traveling. And since the bike will be track only soon it will stay in the trailer 95% of the time... It's been there 2 months already with the suspension bottomed out, not a big deal as I want to ship them to Dan soon anyway, but after that I want something better.

Then I would definitely look at the strapless units that Red Rider uses. They are extremely nice and don't put any load on the suspension. I would still secure the front end since I am pretty pessimistic about anything holding my ride in, but you would only need to snug the front at any rate.

One could get the strapless system and a Baxley. Just take some time measuring and you could roll it into both, securing it quite well.

Yeah, that right there would be the ultimate set up, but quite expensive

Re: Securing Bikes in Trailer

I finally ordered the strapless stand, RedRider, how close to the wall can I put the bike in the trailer, is there any movement? I'd like to get the bike REAL close to the wall so that I might be able to fit 2 in there.

Re: Securing Bikes in Trailer

You can load it pretty damn close to the wall if you need to since the bike doesn't move side to side. Just remember that you'll need enough room in front of the bike to move it forward so you can roll it back onto the stand. I'll measure my setup to give you some idea and will let you know.
