Re: Interior pics of your trailer

Looking for ideals on how setup the inside of my enclosed trailer. Trying to determine if I want to build a shelf/tire rack or just throw all gear into a big pile? It's a 6x10 and I have about 2.5-3' of room in front of the bikes.

Thanks.
Donald

Re: Interior pics of your trailer

Ive seen a few cool setups, either cabnets in the inside aghnist the back wall to store stuff like helmets, oils, lubes, etc. Someone (I think Red Rider) has a cool setup in his (i think) 6x12 where the front couple feet he built a aprox. 2 foot tall divider so stuff wouldnt slide around into the bikes, and the dividers removed and turned into side mounted shelves when the bikes were out. Also, Conq did somithing similar with out the removable bits in his old trailer, pics probaly floating around on his trailer page.

Red, does the shelve on the right fold up? *I like that ideal. I may do that in the front of my trailer that way the shelve can be moved to adjust for different cargo.

Pick up a new hauler....dodge Hemi. It replaced an old tried xterra.

The shelf is mounted on the wall using two little L-brackets and is suspended by a couple of tiedowns from the roof joists. I set up it when I get to the track so I can have a place to put things, then when I leave I remove it from the wall and it put it across the front of the trailer (slides down inside two wood slots on either side) and use it as a panel to keep all my junk from bouncing all over the trailer. If you look closely at the pic you can see one panel still in place...the shelf slides down on top of it.

Re: Interior pics of your trailer

Get etrack for the floor as it gives you lots of flexibility for tie down points. They also make etrack for mounting on walls, vertical etrack as opposed to the horizontal for the floor. I have vertical etrack going up the walls in the front. To that is attached some etrack compatible brackets, and then bars are hooked into the brackets, and run across the front of the trailer. Resting on these bars are plywood. So, this gives me shelves that are adjustable up and down, and removable. I put another bar closer to the floor, to hold in a toolchest, stands, etc. I put lubes and stuff in milkcrates and bungeed the crates to the shelves.

Re: Interior pics of your trailer

I have some Etrack on the floor....using them to create shelves could be good. I also found some gear/shelves at jegs.com but some of it is rather expensive!
