Painting E Track

The only thing I can get local is that nasty green e track. Has anyone painted thiers before installation and if so what did you use? I wondering on kind of paint, durability, and if you sanded/sand blasted prior to painting.

Thanks

Re: Painting E Track

No matter what color you paint them, your going to get chipping with use. If you really don't like the color, than get them powdercoated..

Polish them out. I would start with 200 grit, then go to 220, 400, 600, 1200 before breaking out the Nevr Dull and Mothers Mag polish . . .
