Also news to me was how easy it is to torque your triples by just tying your bike down.
That's how I break in new suspension components . . .

While mulling this claim over, did you happen to think about the fact that there is no rider sitting on/riding the bike, and that whatever it is being towed in (truck or trailer) has its own suspension?

Come on now, CC, you're brighter than that.

I would think more bikes get tweaked by improper use of tiedowns, especially with Canyon Dancers, than anything else...

For sure, I really want a nice set of billet triple clamps now...

I would think it would equate to less than that as the trailer suspension would take up a lot of the high speed movements.

Re: Strapless Transport Stands

Finally got to road test the STS setup this weekend going to Grattan. I hit more potholes than I can recall, bounced over several rail crossings, and travelled many highway miles in between, and my bike never budged an inch. No straps, no chocks, no Canyon Dancers...it worked like a charm!

Worth every penny...

In the interest of science, Red, I'll volunteer to drive the Yukon Valdez at high speeds over 20 miles of I-94 in Detroit while you film the movement of the bike in the back.

Also, I have seen the ad featuring that model in RRW for at least a year, but it never occurred to me to look at the product she was pitching !!

Peter, I would like to know what kind of tie down plates you have on the floor and who makes them I have been looking for something similar to this but don't where to start. P.S. The stand looks sweet!

Ok so now that it has been tested and approved of; the big question that I am surprised no one has asked yet: How Much?

There a great product with the exception of the fact that you can't use them if you have any kind od solid axle or have axle sliders the run through your existing hollow axle.

Looks like it would only work on cruisers and other naked-type bikes.

But does seem pretty sturdy.
