possibility of self loading in a truck

This is a discussion on possibility of self loading in a truck within the Towing / Transport forums, part of the General Utility Vehicle Discussion category; with a slight ramp mod on the platform this could ease loading into the back of a truck.... link= http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=47591...

Hmmm. Not a bad idea, if the ramp is made a bit longer. I've seen the ones that take up your entire truck bed. They're pricey! A landscape trailer would probably be cheaper!

Re: possibility of self loading in a truck

I used the EZ Fold ramp and rode the bike up and out of the bed by myself for over a year before I got a trailer. I think I paid $125 for it. Plus, I seriously doubt that box will hold 500 lbs....and what could they put in that box small enough to weigh 500 lbs???
