I was just thinking about this yesterday. You'd need to have some kind of a window or a light on so that you can actually see what's going on inside the trailer.

no. the cameras use infrared.

My trailer monitoring system consists of me getting my out of the truck and into the trailer at all gas stops. Can't afford the fancy schmancy stuff that Firment is lookin' at.

Is something like this really necessary? I have been pulling trailers for over ten years going to races here and there and as long as you strap you stuff down you should have no problems...A complete waist of money IMO...

Yeah, I've not had many problems towing, either. Seems like it's designed for horse trailers, and I can definitely see the use there, having trailered a horse.
