Removing stem from 929 lower triple
I'm working on a project bike and need to pull the stem out of a 929 lower triple and replace it with a 919 stem.
The 919 stem pressed out of the 919 lower triple without issue, but the 929 stem won't budge. We tried heating the bottom of the stem/triple area with a torch and were using a 12-ton press, but no luck. Is there a trick to getting the 929 stem out of the triple?? Thanks, Mike |
