did you look at the page? the right side is adjustable and it comes with ends for spools or under swingarm style (no spools like the 929). I like it just don't know if I'd spend that much money.

I noticed it after I looked at the site again. It is a nice stand, but my Pit-Bulls work great for me...other than when I trip over the handle.

Re: Think our Pit Bulls are nice rear stands?

Just got my Baxley Sport Chock today. I was a little reluctant to lay down $200 plus for such an item, but I must say I am VERY impressed with this little wonder. What a quality piece of equipment this is. Extremely clever design and really high quality construction. I am really glad I ordered it. It will be great for trackdays, both for transport and for securing the bike quickly and easily without a side stand. Thanks for the recommendation!

Re: Think our Pit Bulls are nice rear stands?

I use LP front and rear stands in my garage and have for years. One person operation and I have'nt dropped a bike yet (knock, knock).

If I was trying to get off of a race bike and get it on a stand myself I'm sure I'd buy a ride-in stand immediately.

Can't use a kickstand with my track bodywork. Also makes transport much easier.

I think he was referring to the original stand posted in this thread.

Re: Think our Pit Bulls are nice rear stands?

Seems most stands run about 100 or so. I think i am going to get one of the pitbulls with the side arm. just trying to figure out what disadvantages thier are. Besides 30 more bucks than the average stand.

Re: Think our Pit Bulls are nice rear stands?

Yea i read that. Ok so i'm going to pay to much. Does anyone know how well this type of stand works? The forward handle rear stand (universal model). As apposed to thier regular rear stand.

Thanks

Re: Think our Pit Bulls are nice rear stands?

Well, I shelled out the money for the Cycle Cat lift. I've had an intermittent back issue and figured that over the life of the stand, it would be worth it for me.

I don't know if it's art but it sure it good engineering. It works as promised... standing at the left rear of the bike you can lift the bike with one hand with the bike on the sidestand. You just slightly balance the bike as it goes up. No balancing really and no chance of it dropping off the other side.

As I look more carefully at it, it is well engineered. More money? Yes. Worth is for me? YES.
