What color lid do you wear?
Well, I'm curious. I personally wear a white lid with bright, almost day glow graphics (a Quantum e Numata rep to be exact). While it might not match my bike perfectly, it's loud and makes me easily seen by cagers. I think a solid white lid is probably best in this regard though.

I had a solid Anthracite Arai but it got dinged when I had the shoulder blade crash. Since I've got obnoxious yellow leathers now I decided I needed something bold for my helmet as well. Now I've got a Jimmy Moore replica Shoei, replete with flames and a skull & crossbones with a tophat.

<---------Edwards RWB Rep and A solid Silver Signet... I wear the Edwards around town, on the track, etc, the Signet is my long ride/commuting helmet as hit has speakers in it.

Blaze Orange, baby.
In '96 I was rear ended by a pickup driving octogenarian with caratacts while riding my Triumph and wearing a pearl silver Shoei. So I decided that fashion wasn't going to be part of my riding apparel decisions anymore. Now Shoei no longer makes that color, and it's time to replace the lid, so I'm going to purchase either an X-11 or an RF1000 in white, and I'll custom paint the helmet in a couple of flourescent colors, including orange and yellow. With my orange leathers, I can be seen by the legally blind. People don't cut me off or turn left in front of me anymore. ( though I still don't trust that they won't...)
