Did you call/contact Arai Americas directly? If not go that route as this is a warranty issue and they will take care of it.

I just the other day broke off one of the teeth off of one of the side covers on my arai helment that I have had for 6 years and I called them up and told them what I did and they sent me another for free, no questions.
