Re: Heli Modified vs. Two Bros Riser Bars

I've just installed Heli Modified handlebars on my bike, but I'm not exactly enamoured with them. Too wide and they come rather close to the air duct covers at full lock. The extra width of the bars moves my arms out wider, making the mirrors pretty much useless. Also, because they are further back, they take away the 'front endy feel' of the bike that the stock bars gave.

I am now toying with the idea of getting the Two Bros handlebar setup. There is a range of vertical adjustment the Helis don't have (no room under the bar), and a range of adjustment for the bar drop angle, which the Helis don't have, either. The drawbacks I see with the TBR setup, are that it apparently does not work with the internal vibe dampers, or even the bar end weights, and they are more expensive as well.

Does anyone have any experience with the TBR handlebars, or know of anyone who does and can relate to me their thoughts? *TIA

I just got my Heli's on a couple of weeks ago. Your right, I do notice the width. But theres no reason you couldnt cut them down I suppose. I really didnt notice much difference in the rise/pullback, but after doing a few hundred miles this weekend, I could tell the difference.

Re: Heli Modified vs. Two Bros Riser Bars

It's just not your day, Fumb. Heli has a 30 day trial period for the return of products not affected by workmanship, so if I decide that I don't like them, or that the TBR setup is better within that 30 days, I can return them for a 10% handling & restocking fee.

Now that I've shooed the vultures away....... Anyone have any feedback on TBR's setup?
