Online Scams

I get about one of these a day, of course they are all scams and I didn't post the whole thing. These guys are always after the same thing - your money and they only keep doing because they get results???? I can't believe there are idiots out there who fall for this stuff but there must be The grammar in this one gave me a bit of a laugh anyway...

Greeting to you dear One,

I am writing to let you know that mysteries has gone in my life. In the western part of Africa is where I meet a hell in my life. On the 29th September 2004 later in the night the murderers came without a pity without a mercy they killed my father in front of me.

My father was a wealthy cocoa merchant here in my country. The trouble began early 2004, when my father's associates started suspecting that my father was not giving proper accounts of all the tons of cocoa being cultivated by local farmers in some villages.

This mistrust deepens between Jul-Aug 2004 when they discovered a very big some of money my father deposited with a security company here in ABIDJAN-COTE D'IVOIRE . As a result of this discovery and the heaviness of the money, he was killed by his associates.

Yeah it's just that this one was so bad I had to share it, looks like they are getting kids to do the creative work. I bet this one blows their conversion data to the wind.

I have seen the bike scams in Ebay a few times. 2006 Hayabusa for 3K blah blah 15K in custom work blah blah must sell blah blah. DO NOT BID before e mailing me at I'matotalcriminal@gangster.ghetto or whatever. They always want you to contact them outside of ebay and always want you to send a money order or cash. I told one guy I would buy the bike. I said "I'll just drive down tomorrow with the cash and pay you when I pick it up, I'll do the buy it now on your auction when I get there. I have a buddy that is a cop in your area that will let me borrow his trailer" I never heard back for the guy... strange.

If it sounds too goog to be true then it most probably is, it is however amazing how many people get caught up by all sorts of online scams. Russia is just choc a block with gorgeous blonde women looking for rich single men...
