for me i worked 3+ years in a go go bar. it was a family owned bar so yours truly was the DJ, bouncer, and bar back "change kegs and stock beer"


i got paid to play music, drink, and toss out the occasional stupid drunk all whilst surrounded by nekkid ladies thats what i call good karma.

although it gives you quite a odd perspective of your fellow males when you see guys reaching new levels of pathetic tryin to take girls home when all they wanna do is earn a living.

Rode roof on a mansion being moved fron Palo Alto to Atherton. The move had to be done in the middle of the night. We started at 2am. We were going down El Camino Real, sometimes in the wrong dirrection because the mansion was two story and couldn't always clear the power and telephone wires. A drunk who was stumbling down the road looked up and saw a house driving down the road and nearly fell over backwards. My job was to walk the power and telephone wires up over the roof with a wooden pole (10' 2x4). At one point, a phone wire just didn't want to clear. It was tight up across the roof and I pryed it up and over. When it finnally made it over the ridge of the roof, it sounded like a guitar string as it shot off the other side.
We were done with the move around 5am and the boss took us all out for breakfast (I bought the most expensive thing on the menue.)

When I was 18 I drove haul truck at the coal mines in Gillette, WY. Fully loaded the truck weighed in at about 500 tons and the drivers seat was about 3 stories above the ground....tires alone were 12 ft tall

and then not so much a crazy job as a shitty job...
When I was like 14 or 15 I took a job at a local stable mucking horse stalls...what made it even better is I did it for 4 hours a day and then got to go home and do it at my family's barn for free
