Charlie Boorman in the Paris - Dakar
Not sure if anyone else has posted this up already but Charlie Boorman, him of Long Way Round fame, entered the Paris Dakar on a BMW F650. Doing ok on the relatively easy early stagess, up to about 115th or so. Sadly he's fallen off and broken his hand and so has been forced to retire. Wuss.

I know nothing about it, but that is such an amazing event. Much respect for anyone that even enters.
