Newbie

Just wanted to say "howdy" everyone, new here. Picking up my 2012 BR this Saturday. I had a 2010 Polaris Ranger for the past 2 years and could not be happier than for someone else to own it now. Their happy, I'm real happy. The ranger had a great ride and am hoping due to the width of the BR the ride will be similar. The tranny is another item that sold me. Have been reading on hear that alot of folks say the BR is loud. Ride in a ranger and you'll have a change of heart. Anyway, I think I have may a good choice

Re: Newbie

What problems the ranger gave you in 2 years time to make you bale out of it.

Absolutly none. I wanted a machine that would creep around, make very little noise. The ranger unless you drive as the manufacture suggested would not do what I wanted. I drive around mostly at 5 to 7 mph. To do this on the ranger you had to drive in low, increasing rpm's, noise. You could drive around in high and eat belts once a year. They would be prefect if the "H range" was not geared so high. I did not like the feel of the tranny. I did not like the noise overall, the rattling of the machine and the clunking of the rearend. Do not beleive that I got rid of it just to get rid of it, my gut told me to and I trust it. It's just not a machine for my needs. Take away the drivetrain and install something other and I think you would have a heck of a machine.
