New In FL

Hello everyone. Ive been reading this forum for some time now and decided to join. Bought my BR a little over a year ago and absolutely love it. Ive done a few simple mods and will post some pics soon (roof with stereo console, front and rear lights, rear bumper, skid plate and rims). More mods planned soon.

Was wondering who has lifted their BR, how high, which brand and the pros and cons they ran into (was thinking about 2"). Anyone put an aftermarket pipe on? I mainly see FMF and wondered if they are worth the money and any pros & cons.

Thanks,

Welcome to the board and cannot wait to see your mod pictures. I installed the Highlifter 2" kit and removed the rear sway bar at the same time. Much better off road when driving over rough ground. Have noticed only the slightest amount of body roll during high speed cornering. Would highly recommend the lift to anyone.

Re: New In FL

Thanks. I might have to go ahead and go with the Highlifter lift. I just put MSA Platoon rims on the BR and I opted for the wide offset which gives it about a 2 inch (per side) wider stance. I think it looks better than the entire wheels being inside the wheel well. Was going to take some pics today but the weather here in Central Fl got a little bad this afternoon. Will try again tomorrow.

Re: New In FL

I went with the Highlifter 2" kit as well. Fairly easy to bolt on, only had to remove the front wheels for install, took about 1 hour to bolt on. BR has more travel and rides better over rough terrain and washouts. So far I am pleased with the kit. I sure there are other brands that work well too.
