A buddy has HID's on his RZR (not sure the brand) he likes the lighting but said his lens keep filling with water since he installed them. Any feedback?

Re: HID lighting kits

I have HIDs on my Rincon and love them. Below is where I got my kit from and couldn't be happier, great customer service.

They don't list a Big Red kit but if the Big Red runs the same lightbulb as the Rincon (bet it does, Honda loves to reuse parts on different machines) then they have a kit that would work for the Big Red.

Eitherway, the only thing wrong with a HID kit is that Honda runs one bulb for both Hi and Low and with an HID kit you only get Hi or Low depending on how you wire it. I wired in my HIDs on the Rincon to both my Hi and Low beam wires so if I accidentally flipped the switch from Hi to low or back my lights wouldn't shut off.

Eitherway, I love HIDs on my Rincon and would strongly recommend them.

Re: HID lighting kits

As for your friends RZR headlights filling with water, a friend of mine has a RZR also with the exact same problem. When I installed his HID lights for him (he was deployed to Iraq but coming home for leave over hunting season) I put a small thin layer of High Temp Silicone (Orange in color) between the bulb housing and the bulb.

I don't know how better to explain it. It did cure the problem with water getting into the light. We had to do this samething for his rear taillights also.

Hope it helps.
