SELLING MY BIG RED.
After 5 months, 19 hours, 200 miles, and $2,300 in accessories, I've decided to sell my Big Red. Reason... I just don't use it enough. I've got too many other outdoor activities that I participate in and find that riding in Big Red falls way down the list. I'm going to use it through the middle of November for the upcoming hunting and fall fishing seasons, but then put it up for sale. It's a fabulous machine, but I want to purchase a new Jeep Wrangler in the Spring to replace my 1989 Wrangler. Selling the Big Red will give me that much more cash to purchase something nice. I can get so much more use out of another Jeep than I can from the Honda. I live in area in the U.P. of Michigan that has hundreds of miles of trails and hundreds of miles of forest roads in which to ride, but it just isn't my thing. The only thing to figure out next is what to ask for it price-wise.

Re: SELLING MY BIG RED.
Are you near me? I am up here in the Houghton-Hancock area and might be interested depending on what has been modified. I prefer to only have a winch and any accessories would not interest me. Does it have to stock tires?

Re: SELLING MY BIG RED.
I live in Hancock, so we are close to each other. Here are the modifications I've added. All were purchased new.
- winch, under hood auxiliary battery box with separate battery solely for the winch; hard-top; windshield; rear window; meter kit (hours/miles, etc.); tonneau cover; inside rear-view mirror; locking glove box; outdoor storage cover; upgraded tires and wheels ( I still have the original wheels and tires which are like new, having been driven only 3 miles before they were taken off and stored). The hard-top, windshield, meter kit, tonneau cover, locking glove box are all original Honda accessories. I'm not sure on the price yet, but it will be somewhere in the $10k to $11k range. I've already got two other people interested, but it won't be available until mid November for sale. |

Re: SELLING MY BIG RED.
I prefer one that is completely stock, a dealer installed OEM winch would be an acceptable add-on I would be willing to pay extra for.
Good luck selling.
