Air Filter change
After 7 months of ridding I decided to change my stock filter to a K&N with a pre charger cover.... I am concerned about previous post saying that the k&n let's too muck dust in.... Has anyone used the precharger before??? I can't believe how much oil was on the stock filter.... I've had 3 Honda wheelers and have never seen one with so much oil.... Thoughts

I use K&N filters on all my vehicles and have for long time. I use a pre charger on my Harley due to it being an open filter. I have been in many rain storms and it seems to repel water well. I have run pre chargers on my Foreman which I competed on in mud runs and never had a problem. I would not run a K&N without a pre charger on an ATV, utv, or anything exposed to a lot of water and dust. You need to keep the pre charger washed out. On having to much oil on the filter I normally over oil mine and then set it in the sun on its end and let the excess run to the ground. I have fouled plugs by putting them in to wet. You will find lots of opinions on K&N filters some good some bad just like anything else out there.
