Re: New owner, mileage question.
On hard pack trail driving a comfortable speed I get about 300Km on a tank which works out to 186 miles. I always carry a 20L tank just incase though.

Over mostly hard trails and at moderate to slow speeds, I too average 22-23 mpg with a high degree of consistency. I carry 2-2 gallon fuel packs as a back-up. I use premium gas exclusively and try to use no-ethanol whenever I can find it, which is seldom...
