Help with tire decision.

New owner of 2011 Big Red. Local dealer has a deal on 4 ITP Mud Lites XL with chrome/black wheels. 26/12/12 rear and 26/10/12 front. I've checked a lot of places on the internet and the price they are offering is fantastic. My question is, has anyone used these? How do they ride? Noise? I will be using them on hard dirt trails mostly, some mud and some gravel/paved road and grass. Anybody that can give me some information fast, as I need to buy these before they sell. Thanks.

My buddy has a set on his Rhino and he likes them so far. For most hard dirt pack trails I am not sure a mud tire would be my first choice. I would look at something like the ITP Terra Cross or Maxxis Bighorn tire. I would also go with a 26-12-12 in the front if you have the room. I have a 2" lift and run 26-12-12 on all four corners with no issue but I am not sure what they would be like without the lift.

I have 27/12/12 mudlite xl's on the rear and 27/10/12 's on my 2010 BR,, and i have no issues with clearance,, I had them on with the stock rims before i installed my lift and my rims... I have the mudlite xl's on 3 machines and they perform good in any condition so far. including hardpack.
