Wheel studs
The winter I lost 3 lug nuts off the front passenger track. The track sliding back and forth over the wheel studs ruined them. I went into the dealer and ordered some new ones but they ordered in the bolts that hold the brake router on instead. Since I need the bike this weekend and could not get the proper studs I figured I would have to improvise. The early model Honda Civic had the same 12mm stud with 1.5mm thread. The barbed end was 2mm bigger but other wise they were the same size.
  So I removed the hub and threw it in the CNC mill and milled out the holes to accept the civic studs.   And the studs pressed into place.
