Street Legal Big Red?

I just inherited my Dad's Big Red, has anyone thought about making them Street Legal? I know every state has different laws;
Lights
Turn Signals
Back Up Lights
Mirrors
Bumpers
Windshield
Wipers
Marker Lights
Insturment gauges
Four Way Flashers
Etc.
A state inspection form would give you an idea as to were to start.
I live in an area that has hundreds of miles of back roads, would not be good for main highways, or Inter State Roads. Getting to your favors hunting area, fishing area or just a casual afternoon drive would be great.

Has anyone tried to make theirs Street Legal?

I would love to make mine street legal but it will never happen as the local laws won't allow it. I know there are a few kits around that you can buy that add signal lights, horns, and other needed gear.

It would seem that if the Big Red met all the requirements it should pass.
If a vehicle can be built from parts and pass, a Big Red should also pass.
To meet the requirement of the law would vary from state to state but should be doable. I will do some inquiring in Maryland. Will post the outcome.
