Lack of a "Low range" a problem?

It seems that the weight and lack of power would dictate a low range option as a requirement. I live at 5,000' and ride at +8000. I almost can't see how the BR would be sufficient. Am I missing something here? My wife has an 10 Rancher with elec shift and power steering, but the tranny has a low 1st gear and it works fine. I really like the BR for all the std reasons, but I am hesitant due to the lack of gearing choices.

Well it does have a three transmission. I have never had an issue with not having a low gear.

I just climbed about 1500+ feet of elevation starting at 6000 ft, pulling a 1000 lb trailer with no issues whatsoever. I love this frigging maching. -Jerry

That's like my wife's Rancher. That thing will go wherever my King Quad will go. I am glad to hear from you guys. My son has a Rhino and my other son has a Teryx. They both think I won't need a "low" range. I just don't have a dealer around that I can look at let alone drive one.

I have pulled some huge loads with the bike and have never had an issue. First gear is geared low and third gear is geared high so in reality you have high, medium and low gear.

I just need to get my house sold,(fortunately we live in a good area for real estate sales!), and find one within driving distance.
Thanks for your responses.

I plow a lot of snow with a 6 foot blade and pull a ice fishing house on skids and NO PROBLEM at all. The BR ROCKS!
