Re: dusty ride

The problem is the dust swirls in around the windshield and drowns the riders in dust. I found running it without the rear window helps but removing the front windshield altogether makes a huge difference. A half windshield will improve the ride some and still offer you some protection. I would like to get a full hard enclosure but I haven't found one yet.

Re: dusty ride

After extensive trial runs including roof/no roof, rear window/no rear window, windshield/no windshield/split windshield, I can conclude that I have reached no definitive conclusion; or perhaps the best I can say is that when it is raining or the trails are covered in water, the dust problem is less severe. We have grown used to goggles, respirators or just eating grit on the dusty days!!!

Re: dusty ride

I have the split windshield... If I leave it shut on a dry dusty ride it kills me... I find keeping it cracked open is best.
