Re: heater ?

I have looked at the ones they sell for Arctic Cat and Yamaha and figure it would be easy to make one. Just haven't seen the need yet with out a decent hard enclosure available for the Big Red.

Re: heater ?

If you don't need a lot of heat here is what I did an am very happy with the results. I drilled a hole in mine just ahead of the E brake lever on the flat area and installed a fan from Northern Tool. I made a cover for the hole when not in use. Don't even need the fan most of the time as the heat from the engine pushes out the hole with out it and if I need more heat turn on the fan. My Big red has a a windshield and the back is enclosed, on the cargo nets I bought some clear plastic at WalMart and attach to the nets if it is below freezing. Follow link below for the fan I used.

Re: heater ?

They make a universal heater from northern hydraulics . I was thinking of placing one underhood and ducting it into cab .

Re: heater ?

I rode over the weekend and the windshield has 2 areas that are not flush with the hood and let in a bunch of freezing air . Why did honda do that?

Re: heater ?

To let cold air, water and snow in through. Also it has to allow for a rider to be able to open the hood.

Re: heater ?

I stuff towels in them on real bad days . Please keep me posted if you see a heater that looks right. I wanted to install one underhood and duct it into cab with 2 or 3 3inch vents for a hot rod application.
