Not sure if these will help or not.

The Honda Part number is 15412-KEA-003
K&N part number is KN-111

Re: oil filter number

You will probably find more options at your local autoparts store if you ask for a Honda Rincon oil filter, they are the same filters.

There are also other aftermarket companies that make OEM replacement filters but again, you'll probably have to look for a RIncon filter since the Big Red is new and a lot of them haven't updated thier sides/catalogs yet.

Re: oil filter number

In review of the US warranty they mention you can do your own maintenance work if you have the correct tools and service manuals. I may have a different point of view, I work in the car industry and see people change their oil and run into problems with warranty (when/if engine work is needed). For cheap insurance I just buy the filter and oil from the dealer. I buy 3-4 gallons of oil at a time and as many filters just to make sure I have it on hand.
I then retain the receipt for my records and keep a spreadsheet of what I have done (am I too weird?)
Has this paid off? I think so, no major failures (unless it was self induced ). You will have problems if you don’t take care of what you have.

Re: oil filter number

Sorry but I agree with Sfrankland, yes you are.

You might be a bad as a friend of mine, he keeps everything in a binder for each vehicle and even tracks his fuel, mileage, maintenace, costs evferything! He truly is anal, this includes his two ATVs and two Jet-Skis! Way too much work for me.

Put in oil and and a filter and run it. It is what it is.

Re: oil filter number

Went to by oil and filter again today, called the dealer first and once again they told me they aren't real sure if this is the correct part number for the filter. I then called American Honda and verified that the correct Honda oil filter part number is; 15412-KEA-003 and yes it is the same number Rincon uses.

They also asked me how I liked my Big Red.. I proceeded to recite our wish list and It was actually well received.

Re: oil filter number

I am planning a long trip and want to take everything to do an oil change on the trip. I have the service manual but it does not give part numbers. I want to order online and need PN#s for oil filter, filter cover o-ring, filter bolt o-ring, drain plug washer and o-ring can anyone help me with this?
Thanks in advance!

Re: oil filter number

Howard C, For what its worth I called Honda because it seemed that EVERY Honda dealer had a hard time looking up parts. Honda of USA tells me that Big Red’s (BR) parts listings are internet based and are not down loadable, even for the dealers!
That said I went to Southernhonda.com and pulled up a 2010 Rincon and found these numbers.
Drain plug O ring – 91305-GE1-920
Seal ring – 94109-12000
Oil filter Seal ring – 91302-377-000
O ring – 91301-107-000
Oil filter - 15412-KEA-003

They look the same on the picture, hope that helps

Re: oil filter number

I know it's the same as the Rincon but isn't it also the same as the Foreman or Rubicon. Just posting because I am to lazy to look it up.
