Bushwacker Windshield installation

Opted for the lexan windshield due to lack of glass available.(at least that I know of) Windsheild is made by Bushwacker. Installation is pretty easy with the exeption of the clamps which hold the windshield to the frame.

They have a locking tab on one side and bolts to squeeze the clamp together and then you have a piece of well pipe for a bushing to give the clamp a press fit. However the only way to get the clamp to position properly is to tap or pound the bushing into the clamp because the clamp is juuuust about too small. Once you have beaten the bushing into the clamp, getting the clamp postion properly with the shield is simply a matter of tapping/beating it into postion.

I really did not like using a hammer around my brand spankin new BR but you got to do what you got to do.

This weekend I will be swapping tires adding elec dash, glove box cover, rear window and roof. I'm going to make my own nerf bars, rear bumper and want to make some kind of skid plate to cover drivers side of BR. The pass side is totally covered and I dont understand why they left the entire drivers side open....but we can fix that.
