Probably a neighbor was involved in taking the bike. But to be honest with a good battery the alarm works great. the one thing I will say about that alarm system is it helps to know all the features on the remote, because if you accidently press buttons that you have no idea you could be changing the sensitivity of the alarm which is changed via the remote fob.
