My dad has one of these on his bike. After my last trip to the mountains, I think I'm going to try to fit one on the XX. When someone tries to come into my lane, the stock wimpy horn doesn't get my point across well enough.

I thought about doing something like that with my 1000 but I'm worried I'll cook the stator. They're notoriously fragile on these things.

These buggers are pretty loud - vastly louder than OEM (I fart louder than that ).

I have this same horn, it is freakin' AWESOME !!! It will rattle dentures of the silver haired bag's that pull out in front of you and wake up even the tunnel visioned soccer mom who is too busy talking on the cell phone to drive.

It fits easily in the stock location on my 919, and I just helped install one on a friend's Hayabusa. It is small enough to fit probably most bikes without too much trouble. Only I had to put a relay (included) in on mine because I didn't have enough juice to push it.
