Damn this is an old thread... have the TPX (Adaptiv Technologies – TPX Motorcycle Radar and Laser Detection System ). The thing is awesome! I've had Bels and Escorts in the past, but they don't compare to the TPX on a bike!

Who are you? No offense, but on your 2nd post you advertise an inferior product. And yes I looked into that detector. It's OK, but what separates the cheap RD's from the profi ones is the ability to track multiple targets at once. My RX65 can track 8 and display 3. I know the STi, the V1, Escort 8500 can all do this also. Nowhere did the TPX mention this, not even in the manual. For the price of that TPX, you can get a proven model with better features. The only good points about that TPX is it's designed for a motorcycle enviroment. Which isn't any big deal for my RX65 either. I don't ride a motorcycle in the rain, and don't have problems seeing the display or pushing buttons with gloves.

Seriously, you need to build up some street cred' before you push off a product on us. What you think nobody would notice? It's right there next to your name, 2 posts. And a click on your name shows nothing in your bio.

But if I'm wrong, my bad....

Re: Radar Detector

No worries, I know what you're saying about building street cred'. I currently ride a R6 and am thinking about getting a CBR, and I was lurking through different forums and came across this one. I was just going through the pages and pages of threads in the Electronics part and came across this thread. I got excited because the TPX is my favorite mod this season and thought I had to share my thoughts. That's all. I'm pushing it because I like it. I'm in the process of looking for a new pair of track suit and I might plug it if I find a pair that I like.

Yeah, looking back, it does look like I'm a borderline spammer! I'll try to remember to be active on this forum so I don't look like one!
