Garmin GPS V

I bought one of these last week before heading on a 1,300mi trip to VA and areas. *

This thing is absolutely great! *It has anything and everything that you could ask for. *Automatic routing is great if you miss your exit/turn-off.

It's easy to use, very user friendly.

My only complaint is screen size. *It could be a littlebit bigger. *It's kind of hard to focus on if you have to keep your eye on traffic, but it's still manageable. *Backlit display is nice and bright at night.

I give it 4.8 stars out of 5. *Very highly recommend it to anyone that has been thinking about picking one up. *You won't regret it. *I'm kicking myself for not getting one sooner

EDIT: Direct link to Garmin's website is here

Re: Garmin GPS V

I don't think I'll be getting one right now. Thx for the info though. Glad to hear you got such a good deal. I priced them online and saw that the average price is close to $500.

BTW, can you use those while riding?

Re: Garmin GPS V

Yeah, retail is ~$500 on them.

I haven't tried yet, gonna order up a mount for it pretty soon. It might be a little tough to see the screen at speed, but we'll see. I'll give you a report on it
