I just installed the 5259 HID kit in by BR. The bulb locked in and fit perfectly. I did not have to cut any wires. When you remove the stock bulb you are left with the female side of the factory harness. Use the red and black wires from the HID kit , which have the male ends attached, and put them into the factory plug to get power and ground to the ballast/igniter for the HID. The factory green wire is ground and the other two wires provide power at the high and low beam positions on the factory switch. The white wires provide power at the low beam switch position. I would put a meter on yours and check ground & power to be sure. Good luck.
