I wired my cigarette powere plug to my battery with a fuse link and grounded it to the frame. Dremel'd a hole in the plastic upper on the FJR1300 for the plug. Looks good and works better. Now I can run my GPS and XM without batteries.
I got the Pioneer Airware unit. Using a Roady 2 antenna and power cord. I taped the antenna to the luggage rack on the back and have had no reception problems.
